Ownership options
Prospective AB-TEPI operators can chose one of two
different ownership arrangements, designed to cater to
organisations’ differing budgetary requirements of.
Shared ownership and service provision
|
Operator owns all transmission,
networking and telemetry equipment; deployed fibre
and associated hardware remains in the ownership of
ICS.
Leasing of deployed fibre, system
management and monitoring, routine maintenance,
fault repairs emergency repairs are included.*
Contract periods are five and ten
years, during which time charges are fixed, system
changes notwithstanding. |
Charges comprise:

initial fixed payment at time of

fixed completion payment to
include equipment cost at time of system
handover

quarterly fee in advance
covering fibre lease, system management,
monitoring, maintenance and repairs.*

|

* Note: The obligation to cover fault repair and emergency
repair extends only to failings due to "normal wear and
tear" . This obligation does not extend to failings that
are due in part to or in full to accidental or malicious
damage caused by others, or to derangement due to use
outside specification limits and ratings or exposure
to lightning strikes etc. |
