There are some things which a prospective AB-TEPI
operator is required to provide for the system to be
installed.
Wayleaves and permissions
It is the users responsibility to obtain all planning
and other permissions required for the siting of AB-TEPI
street furniture and residual civil works prior to the
commencement of the contract.
If it is the users intention that equipment shall be
sited in any premises (weather publically owned or
otherwise) it shall be the users responsibility to
obtain all permissions in writing and agree all costs
prior to the commencement of the contract.
If it is the users' intention that cables shall be
routed through private land it shall be the users'
responsibility to obtain all wayleaves and permissions
in writing and agree all costs prior to the commencement
of the contract.
Mains electricity power supply
A single phase unmetered 240V 50Hz mains supply and
proven earth terminal at all ICS equipment installation
locations.
Camera drop cables
The provision of all interconnection cables between the
ICS demarcation terminals and the camera and / or camera
control equipment.
Control room
Cable containment
The provision of a suitable cable route from the
building duct entry point to the equipment rack location
with appropriate containment system installed (ducting,
cable tray, conduit, cable trunking).
Cabinet space
ICS equipment cabinets normally have a footprint of
600mm x 600mm with heights up to 2200mm. A clear space
of 1 metre is required both at the front and rear for
access. Actual size and number of cabinets will be
agreed at the time of survey.
CCTV system interconnections
The provision of all interconnection cables between the
ICS demarcation terminals and the control room CCTV
systems and equipment.
